BBQ Beef and Vegetable Stir-fry is such a simple and nutritious meal. Stir fry is practically a staple in my house, and I know I’m not alone.
It’s no surprise why! This beef and veggie version is one of my favorites because it’s quick and easy, and perfect for busy weeknights. This BBQ Beef and Vegetable Stir-Fry recipe takes things up a notch with a tangy barbecue sauce, so it has a unique flavor that everyone will love.
I love fusion cuisine! Asian fusion is high on the list of things I love to cook, especially easy recipes like Cashew Chicken, Vegan Katsu Curry, and Asian Noodle, Veggie and Beef.
Ingredients
- 226 grams of broccoli
- 907 grams of Beef Steak
- 1 medium onion
- 1 red bell pepper
- 2 tablespoons of oil, avocado, or olive
- 1/2 bunch of green onions
Stir fry marinating:
- 2 tablespoons of Sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon of fresh ginger
- 2 tablespoons of brown sugar
Instructions
- The stir-fry marinade is prepared by whisking together soy sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, and ginger in a small bowl or measuring cup. Place aside.
- Cut the broccoli into bite-sized pieces and slice the bell peppers into strips. Cut the green onion into half-rings and slice the onion.
- Slice the steak against the grain to make thin slices.
- In a deep frying pan or skillet, add oil. Add the vegetables (apart from the green onion) and sauté on medium-high until they are browned. Remove out and place aside.
- Add beef strips and cook them over high heat in the same pan or skillet until golden brown.
- Put the beef, cooked vegetables, and green onions back into the wok. Pour in the marinade and give it a thorough shake. Cook on low flame for 2-4 minutes or until sauce starts to thicken mildly,
- Serve with your preferred side dish, and enjoy.
