Tips & Tricks and Recipe Notes

  • For the best texture, whip the eggs really well. An immersion blender can help make them light and fluffy.
  • Try not to overcook the eggs. Just cook until they’re done and remove, or they can get rubbery.
  • Add herbs, like basil or thyme, for an extra kick of flavor.

How to Store Leftover Pepperoni Omelette

This omelette is definitely best when eaten fresh. But if you have leftovers, store them covered in the fridge for up to 2 days.

To reheat, place the leftovers in a pan over medium heat until hot through, or use the microwave.

I don’t recommend freezing cooked eggs.

FAQs

Are omelettes gluten-free?

This omelette is gluten-free. Most omelettes contain eggs, milk, vegetables, meat, and cheese, so in many cases, omelettes are gluten-free, but always verify with your recipe.

What else can I put in my pepperoni omelette?

If you don’t like pepperoni, you can add bacon or ham instead. Try adding mozzarella cheese, tomato, onion, or sauteed bell pepper, too.

Why are my eggs runny?

Your eggs may be runny if the heat wasn’t turned up enough. Return them to the pan for another minute or two.

If your eggs are watery, you may have overcooked them, forcing too much liquid out of the eggs. Just dry up the water with a paper towel. Your omelette should still taste ok.
